Built and operated LiquiMatch - an FX Dark Pool ECN in partnership with Bloomberg- Led the architecture and design of LiquiMatch - system features, components, databaseschema, scalability & fault tolerance models, technology stack, and FIX APIs.- Hired and built out the technology team.- Negotiated terms & contracts for middle-ware, data center hosting & network connectivity.- Selected and managed an offshore vendor to build the LiquiMatch Administration Web portal.- Directed the build out of the production data center.- Launched LiquiMatch- Established support procedures, rule book & tools, and training for the 24 hour support desk.- Designed and developed the market data historical store and analytics.- Developed several components and services for LiquiMatch and the Aggregator UI.

LavaFX was acquired by FXall in Dec 2009. Responsible for migrating LavaFX functionality to the FXall platform, and for the continued operation of the LavaFX ECN.Key accomplishments:- Ran the LavaFX ECN through its retirement. - Led the team that ported the LavaFX order types to the FXall Active Trading platform, which resulted in the successful migration of over 100 LavaFX customers to the FXAll Active Trading platform.- Engineered performance improvements to the FXall platform to support increased load from LavaFX customers.- Managed the group responsible for the Order Router, Algo Server & GUI Market data services of the FXall Active Trading platform. - Provided technical expertise and guidance to other teams for the LavaFX integration project.Technology / Tools- Java 1.5, JRockit VM, JGroups, Gemstone, Oracle, Eclipse, SVN, Maven

Conducted an architectural, technical and SDLC assessment of a Time & Attendance Enterprise system for the City of NY, with specific focus on the payment-rules subsystem that encoded terms of the City-wide union contracts as business rules.

Part of the original team that designed and developed an Exception Management System for Payment Investigations. Key system featured included a Visio-like business rules designer, a Rete Rules Engine that processed the business rules using software agents or an interactive Advisor, and a Transaction Research facility. I designed & developed the Transaction Research system, Software Agents, Business Rules designer, Knowledgebase editors, and Interactive Advisor.
