About Steve Reinitz
My passion is discovering better ways of working in order to remove process barriers for teams. As the founding Product Manager for Boston Scientific's Digital Health Studio, I built and scaled our "process skunkworks", a balanced team of high performing individuals committed to evolving the ways in which the company delivers software for patients, clinicians, and customers.My career journey has taken me through academia, startups and large organizations; I've worked on physical devices and software products and across disease states and clinical specialties. In three-person startups I've literally written our Quality Management System and regulatory filings while also serving as our accountant and head of legal.In large organizations, I've leveraged that breadth of experience to partner directly with Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Safety, Security, and other functions to develop our own SOPs within the company's Quality System, leveraging agile and user-centered product practices to achieve V&V, Design Controls, and other compliance requirements at the speed of software. I've had the privilege of representing my team directly to the FDA and in the MDIC's digital health work streams, helping to craft the framework for an agile regulatory pathway.As the Lead Product Manager in Boston Scientific's Digital Health pillar, I now have the privilege to manage and mentor a team of talented Product Management leaders across our portfolio while also driving the enablement of new product teams.
