First full time people team hire. Establishing the talent function, building talent and people programs, and hiring for all roles at Lumen. Joined at the seed stage and grew the company through Series A. Managed a hybrid role in Talent and People.People accomplishments:- Led the development of performance, growth, and merit-increase frameworks.- Launched and led employee engagement surveys, analyzed data, shared with founders, and discussed potential solutions that were shared with the company. - Introduced our first-ever learning budget. - Built compensation and leveling frameworks. - Created the first-ever internal employee speaker series where folks could sign up to discuss a topic that was meaningful for them - resulting in high participation and boosted connectivity. - Planned two off-sites in the USA and one in Mexico. Talent accomplishments:- Grew the company from 16 to 31 employees in one year. Hired 14+ individuals for roles in Customer Success, Business Operations, Finance, Sales, and Engineering. Developed and led the successful recruiting process for several leadership roles (Head of Finance and Head of Engineering).- Recommended ATS overhaul to the founders. Researched a better ATS for our needs, handled pricing conversations, and led the migration process from Lever to Ashby. Created all the infrastructure and templates needed to successfully use our applicant tracking system.-Created relationships with climate communities and attended virtual recruiting fairs. - Developed and launched our first official MBA internship program, where two interns successfully graduated from the program.- Utilized recruiting data to optimize the hiring process.

Joined as the first technical recruiter and as an early employee (~employee 65). Grew into a lead recruiter and eventually became a manager within technical recruiting.
