Hi! I'm Stephanie! I'm excited to be transitioning to a career in computer science after working in chemical engineering research and then teaching physics and computer science in a high school setting. While I'm new to the computer science industry, I'm highly motivated to learn and develop my skills in backend software engineering.From my chemical engineering background, I've gained critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical decision-making skills that I'm confident will transfer well to the field of computer science. As a teacher, I've developed strong communication and collaboration skills that are essential in any team-based environment. I'm also a quick learner and adaptable, which I believe will be important as I continue to grow in the industry.My interests lie in digital communication protocols, applications to assist in data analysis, and other needs in the SCADA field. I'm currently pursuing a Master's in Computer Science from Georgia Tech to further develop my skills and knowledge.I'm committed to ongoing learning and professional development, and I'm excited to see where this new career path will take me.
