Working on the Field Programmable Cellular Arrays project, recreating traditional semiconductor logical operations using e. coli and cellular signaling mechanisms.

Conducted random forest and PCA tests to determine the feature that causes stress responses in mice after exposure to chronic isolation and chronic exercise.Looked at single-cell imaging data collected with a miniature microscope (using calcium imaging) to align neurons across multiple trials and days.

Helped lead newly admitted early entrance students through Bridge orientation, a 2-day orientation to help them adapt to the University and its policies.Guided and met with early entrance students through their first year at UW.

Gained experience with fiber photometry, 2-photon spectroscopy, and brain histology (including slicing, mounting, and imaging). Gained experience with 3D printing, circuitry, and assembly of hardware.Learned about neuroscience and the mechanism in the brain that reinforces consummatory behaviors.

Conducted LAMP assays and gel PCRs. Gained knowledge about genetic analysis through hands-on experience. Helped to prototype a device that identifies genetic modification in mosquitoes.Currently developing a new project for the coming academic year.

Worked in a team to interview 6 residents from Greece about their coping mechanisms throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
