It gives me the awareness to waive yesterday’s burdens and tomorrow’s pressures, and its stillness guides my actions and often generates new-found creativity.As a leader, I let the same life lessons guide and inspire my actions. I maintain a pulse on the business to discern what challenges to pursue, and how to use reflection to respond to situations without fear. I remain aware of my team’s thoughts and satisfaction to ensure that they are unencumbered and coloured by their potential. The present is my north star, and I continuously strive to be theirs.When the future reveals its mountains, I employ patience, persistence, and worldly learnings to look up, calibrate myself with the present, and overcome.
