AcrossWorld Communications, Inc. was a Silicon Valley start up which got caught in the Internet bubble and failed to raise the second round of institutional funding. Like all true startups it was way ahead of its time planning to build a global girdle for voice-data-video communication connecting the world. The startup did not succeed in raising the second.

In mid-1980s I worked for Apple's independent marketing company for South Asia and when I came to United States in 1993 I joined Apple in Cupertino. One of my roles was as coordinator of the India Task Force. My last assignment was as NSF Visiting.
