Jalan Journey is a social enterprise that raises awareness and supports various social causes through a unique, interactive and gamified digital experience, allowing students to gain insight and empathy into the lives and challenges faced by our beneficiaries.As the co-founder and CEO, I lead a team of 15 (and growing) primarily in strategy, product design, business communications and classroom facilitation. Many hats worn, and many lives touched!

Responsibilities:- Commanded two platoons for 6 months and 1 platoon for 5 months as a platoon commander in 30th Battalion, Singapore Combat Engineers.- Handled all matters regarding my platoon; I led them in outfield missions, planned the training schedule, tracked the soldiers' fitness proficiencies, and ensured their safety and welfare.- Planned and conducted training for the entire company of 60 soldiers, including extremely high-risk training such as live demolitions and marksmanship tests.- Handled the preparation for a key portion of the Total Defence Display in the National Day Parade 2022.Recognition:- Achieved the highest Readiness Condition possible during the annual unit evaluations.- Awarded an early promotion from Second Lieutenant to Lieutenant in recognition of good performance and service to the company and battalion.- Sent for advanced training in preparation for higher appointments, and received the Top Student Award from COL Terence Ho, Chief Engineer Officer.- Received recognition from COL Pang Chee Kong, Chief Commando Officer and Commander Special Operations Task Force (SOTF) for good performance and leadership during the preparations for National Day Parade 2022.
