After completing my bachelors in Biotechnology, I figured out that I wanted my specialization to be aligned with our living environment. To fuel this ambition, I couldn’t find a better place to do my masters than in Sweden. I obtained my masters in Industrial Biotechnology with specialization in Energy and material recovery from waste. I am thankful for the opportunity presented to me by Anoxkaldnes (Lund, Sweden) to do my thesis on ‘study on energy recovery from aerobic composting’. The internship had a positive impact on my determination and hence I decided to pursue my career in waste management and do my best to be environmental friendly. My passion to develop green energy solutions, from bio-degradable organic waste, has bestowed me with many growth opportunities within my organization. I have successfully spent eight years in applied Research and developmental activities, which involves providing solutions for processing organic waste to clients from corporate to municipalities. So far I have worked on varied kind of organic waste such as food processing waste (coffee husk, cocoa husk, tobacco waste and so on) , livestock manure, press mud, agricultural residues, pharmaceutical waste and organic fraction of MSW.I feel so accomplished when I could see organic waste being treated to generate power, fuel and manure.As a professional specializing in preparing case studies for compressed biogas plants, my expertise lies in conducting comprehensive analyses and documenting the key aspects of successful projects in the field. My role involves delving into the intricate details of each compressed biogas plant initiative, capturing the project's inception, implementation, challenges faced, and ultimate outcomes. IMy commitment to sustainability has helped me to become certified carbon credit professional by CII. I have actively lead all the discussions and initiatives for assessing the GHG emissions for the CBG plants. This hands-on involvement has allowed me to stay abreast of the latest developments in sustainable technologies, environmental policies, and best practices within the field.I enjoy connecting with the like minded people in the Industry.
