Responsible for the supervision of 7 employees servicing over 150 customers in two states. Scope of work included repairs, preventative maintenance, installation, and de-commissioning of all brands and styles of sterilizers and industrial washers.• Aided in the setup, distribution, and training of Smart Service an electronic service program utilized for the tracking of all critical information for a specified customers.• Organized and streamlined in house metronic program for calibration of all relevant certified equipment and instruments.• Responsible for territory budget of roughly 3.2 million per annum.

Senior Facilities ManagerFacilities Lead / first responder for all capital equipment in CovX spaces. Heavily involved in all federal, state, and local inspections, and inspection preparation. Supervised 7 Lab Support team members in support of scientific endeavors.• Promoted to Senior Facilities Advisor, 2011.• Received AAALAC Certification; exemplary rating, 2011.• Accountable for Vivarium Renovation Project 2011. Led team which completed 2 phases of construction project for 10,000 square foot animal housing facility. Completed phases on time and under budget. Upgrades accomplished for sterilizer equipment, as well as, network and access control system. Reviewed weekly RFI / ASI submittals by architectural staff and general contractors. Project budget control: $1.2M.• Successfully passed all agency inspections. Maintained no violations, no citation status.• Key Safety Committee Member. No recordables, 2009 – 2012.• RDS / Asset Management Lead: Oversaw Research Development Services for CovX. Realized company savings of $142K, tracking repairs, services, and preventive maintenance. Liaison with Scientific Line leaders developing Total Cost of Ownership model for each equipment line.• Nominated Employee of the Year, 2010.• Created certification programs for key pieces of equipment where none had previously existed, including Fire Extinguishers, Fume Hoods, Bio Safety Cabinets, Water Systems, Haz-Mat Bunker, Clean Benches, and Vivarium Ventilated Animal Racking.

Responsible for two staff members in support of Scientific endeavors at large Biopharmaceutical facility. Day-to-Day duties included, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring overall satisfactory performance of all support systems in the physical plant, Vivarium, and laboratories.• Completed upgrade of Johnson Metasys BCS with no disruption in systems service to facility. Increased controllability, storage, speed, and elimination of existing system anomalies.• Established Microsoft Access database encompassing over 200 pieces of equipment and associated critical parts utilized by all vendors servicing facility.• Corrected facility-wide discrepancies as member of Safety and IACUC Committees, including creation of system safety procedures.• Monitored collection and processing of hazardous waste streams generated within laboratories, and ensured proper processing until waste reached allocated destination and was properly eliminated. Kept records of disposal and interacted with government agencies on discrepancies.• Performed preliminary troubleshooting of equipment failures throughout facility in effort to decrease cost of vendor visits or eliminate if repairs could be completed in house, resulting in an overall annual cost savings of approximately 18k.

Orchestrated assembly, setup, and integration of Isotec isolators for external customers located on East and West coasts. Corresponded with customers on continuing basis addressing any concerns or difficulties encountered with installed systems.• Inspected and certified each completed unit correcting discrepancies to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Never achieved less than outstanding customer rating.• Provided feedback and guidance on design and manufacture of systems in effort to continuously improve upon finished product resulting in a standardized manufacturing process, improved assembly time, and product reliability. Supervised 3 staff members in acquisition, staging, and sterilization of materials required in support of barrier operations. Supervised staff of 3 technicians in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for large class “A” maximum barrier production facility. Participated in start-up construction and commissioning of new animal housing facilities. Performed installation and certification of steam sterilization units, water purification, air pressure, air filtration, and computer monitoring systems. Installed and modified new systems in accordance with production needs and engineering specifications.• Saved company $60K annually by maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing repair to 95% of all equipment in facility, eliminating need for outside vendor assistance.• Composed and instituted procedures and documents relevant to company-wide ISO 9002 certification. Procedures were utilized by facilities staff members worldwide.• Maintained, repaired, programmed, and instructed others in operation of Building Control System and associated components. Satisfactorily ensured key equipment performance critical to facility operations preventing downtime resulting in a loss of animals worth thousands of dollars.
