Heading the Wago India operations for the German multinational - Wago Kontaktechnik Gmbh manufacturing electrical interconnection products used extensively in Building automation, Transportation, Process control, Marine industries. Responsibilities include handling all the operations of Molding Shop, Assembly Shop, Tool Room, Quality, Maintenance, Utilities, PPC, Purchase, Warehouse. Key deliverables are in areas of Operational Efficiency improvement, Quality sustainability, Cost reduction, Performance management, Regulatory compliance, Certification audits, New Product Development, Global coordination with other manufacturing facilities, MIS reporting to Global Manufacturing Director in Germany.

As GM of the Solar Module manufacturing operations I was responsible for the entire gamut of operations involved in day to day working of the factory as well as driving strategic business objectives planned with assistance from top management. Responsibilities handled are formulation of Annual Business Plans, Identification and Implementation of KPIs, Review, Monitoring and Improvement of all the operational metrics to meet or exceed Balance Score Card targets, Planning of Performance targets of team members Performance Reviews, Compliance and Monitoring of EHS standards, Customer Audit Conformance, Customer complaint resolution, Six Sigma Improvement Projects, MIS reporting to top management etc..

Handling operations of Solar Module manufacturing as Plant Head and responsible for delivering the business targets, improving operational efficiency, manpower recruitment, training, engagement, quality and process improvements, reduction of customer complaints, hazard identification and elimination, safety compliance and enhancement, new product trials and development, drive six sigma improvement projects and generate reports for top management reviews.

Involved with the project at greenfield stage. Responsible for setting up the molding operations of the CD project which involved installation and commissioning of injection molding machines, recruiting and training of molding engineers, planning and scheduling of molding operations, troubleshooting of molding process problems, preventive and breakdown maintenance of high precision optical component molds, performing customer trials and addressing customer complaints, new product trials and development.
