With over 20 years of experience in the telecom industry, I am a network design manager who led the planning, development, and optimization of end-to-end transport across IP, optical, synchronization, and fiber optic cable layers at Omantel, a Tier 1 telecom service provider in Oman. I have a certificate in project management from the George Washington University and a bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, and communications engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.I have a proven track record of delivering successful projects, from selecting the initial transport (IP, DWDM, Fiber) network technology including Fixed Access networks to developing and evaluating RFPs, contracts, scope of works, and budgets for telecom and IT networks, to introducing new technologies such as SDN to modernize the transport network. I am proficient in techno-commercial analysis, network performance enhancement, network life cycle management, and network strategy development. I have also provided leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers and experts, and managed internal and external customer relations and expectations.
