Sridhar Krishnaprasad Chari is a writer, editor, speaker and consultant. As a Strategic Communications consultant, he helps senior leaders clarify executive, positioning, marketing and general communications objectives, both internal and external, and shape the narratives, strategies and culture that go into achieving those objectives. He has 25 years of experience in the written and spoken word. He has a master’s in international relations, with distinction, from the University of Leicester in the UK, and is a Fulbright scholar on US foreign policy.As a writer and journalist, he has covered subjects ranging from IT, business, economics, and the corporate world, to defense, international relations, foreign policy, aerospace, and science and technology. He has reported from as far afield as the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. He has worked for Mint, where he headed the bureau in Bangalore, for The Tribune in Chandigarh, and the Indian Express and Times of India, besides two start up publications, including a weekly news magazine.He loves literature, theatre, poetry and music, which led him to support the founding of an Indian classical music magazine which ran for several years. He also pursues an interest in India’s Vedic heritage, and he often writes both for specialist magazines as well as common readers on the Veda. Somewhere along the line, he was even roped in for a couple of years as a management professor to help create innovative courses to ease the transition of MBA students from the classroom to the real world. One such course focused on a list of top management and leadership books and articles curated by him, which the students studied, presented on, and attempted to apply to real world cases.The one other activity that has consumed a lot of his time apart from all this, is equestrian sports and riding horses.
