As the head of Engineering and Product teams at Yugabyte, I'm responsible for the planning and delivery of YugabyteDB—a cloud-native, scalable, and resilient PostgreSQL-compatible distributed database—along with YugabyteDB Aeon, a fully managed offering on AWS, GCP, and Azure, and YugabyteDB Anywhere, a self-managed offering supporting public clouds and Kubernetes.

Headed the engineering for telematics-based Compliance & AI-camera based Safety SaaS products. Also, led the engineering efforts for the initial versions of Freight Management and Freight Smart Board products.

Ran the engineering at Falcon Computing, leader in Heterogenous Accelerated Computing; led building FPGA based acceleration platform and cloud native solutions on AWS and Huawei for ML, Genomics, Data Compression, and other BigData applications.

Headed the Prism engineering team which is responsible for delivering a highly scalable management platform for both on-prem and cloud environments, encompassing infrastructure management, Self-Service Portal, Multi-tenant management, Hybrid cloud support, APIs, Observability, and Analytics.

Headed an engineering team chartered with making it seamless for VMware customers to use cloud resources as an extension to their on-premise data centers through VM mobility and Content Library synchronization across clouds.

Lead the engineering team responsible for the vCenter Server core platform which is used by over 500k customers. vCenter provides a rich set of management functionality for VMware's virtual infrastructure including ESX hosts, VMs, storage, and networking.

As an architect in the Grid Control team, lead initiatives in the areas of scalability, availability, data modeling, persistence, and service modeling; Managed Grid Control's Oracle Management Server (OMS) and SLM/APM teams.

I was one of the key technical leads responsible for the Asera commerce server, the foundation layer for building B2B and B2C applications. I also played a key role in offshore development, pre-sales, customer project delivery, and training.

Technical lead for the development of e-Care - implemented a Java based chat request distribution server integrated with Lucent’s ACD hardware.

Worked on developing cross-platform distributed object broker technologies; also lead the initial implementation of CORBA based management agent for the Enterprise Manager product.
