The New York South Asian Real Estate Network (NYSAREN - https://www.nysaren.org/) is a professional association exclusively for commercial real estate professionals in the greater New York City area. NYSAREN was founded in 2015 and has active membership of over 200 professionals. NSAREN's events are designed to facilitate new relationships amongst the members while also providing useful educational events where senior members of the community can share their insight and experience. Members represent the full range of commercial real estate firms including private equity funds, development shops, operators, lenders, legal counsel, brokerage and investors targeting both GP and LP investments.

- Performed deal screening/sizing, due diligence, modeling and marketing of transactions.- Assisted and engaged in pitching for new business via formal RFP's and informal meetings.- Marketed deals to lenders/equity, performed property tours and modeled various term sheets.- Supervised and reviewed analyst work in addition to providing training and guidance.

- Assisted the C-Suite with firmwide strategy and growth. Analyzed and proposed initiatives to enhance the bottom line. - Identified gaps in C&W’s global service platform by evaluating operations based on market size, performance, and headcount. This led to ~$50mm being assigned by the firm to enhance operations.- Recommended businesses to divest based on strategic fit and profitability. This initially involved developing a new global profitability model that accounted for previously un-allocated corporate and regional costs (~$40mm).- Evaluated, proposed and tracked restructuring related initiatives that reduced the firm OpEx by nearly 16%.- Quantified and “red-flagged” performance metrics vis-à-vis a quarterly KPI report.

- Project managed and supported the equities trading front office technology infrastructure (trade execution, risk management, trade booking/settlement). Consistently promoted to positions of increased responsibility including being relocated from London to New York.
