I led the definition of a "Smarter Energy" framework (covering Smart Grids, buildings, datacenters, energy generation and storage) from IBM Research, defining Research technologies and solutions to be developed for IBM's growth in Energy. Previously, I have twenty years of experience with IBM Systems and Technology Group leading strategy, advanced technology and product development teams. Last five years of these were with IBM Global Engineering Solutions, leading a team focused on providing custom engineering solutions to A&D clients worldwide in satellite, aerospace and classified defense applications. My goals are to leverage technology and business innovation as enablers in creating sustained, differentiated value in solutions for clients, and when possible, to humanity at large.
