I am committed to making education accessible, equitable, and transformative for as many students as possible. To this end, I have worked for 10+ years in the US and abroad as a researcher, educator, facilitator, mentor, and writer. I received my PhD in English Literature in 2020 and have taught and published across the public, private and nonprofit sectors. I was recently awarded the Alpha Chi Omicron Award at Fordham University, a student-nominated award for teaching that combats racism and promotes social justice. In 2022, I won the ETHOS teaching excellence award at Success Academy's High School for the Liberal Arts. I currently serve on the editorial board of English, a journal of the English Association at Oxford, and as an MLA Bibliography fellow, both of which allow me the opportunity to shape scholarship in my field. In the past, I have served as a Wikipedia Fellow and as an MLA Connected Academics Proseminar Fellow, which trains PhDs in the public humanities. Email: kumar.srigowri@gmail.com.
