Leading the Resource Mobilization, Communications & Partnerships function of PRADAN.

Lead in tapping funding opportunities:• Managing the processes required for donor outreach including implementing the communication strategy to target potential partners• Independently participate in meetings with donors; this includes developing corresponding materials/presentations• Create mechanisms for integrating fundraising with digital media communications efforts to receive mass-market donations and expand the online giving avenues• Ensuring that PRADAN has the required operating systems to support its activities, including CRM and financial systems and an optimized website• Managing key ongoing external relationships, partnerships and collaborations Further development of PRADAN funding strategy/opportunities:• Conduct research and analysis of ongoing giving trends and opportunities to develop new avenues of forging partnerships• Co-ordinate with state directors and relevant nodes across the organization to create opportunities and opening for teams and DCs to access them• Strategize and execute outreach to corporate and HNI donors; this includes identifying optimal channels to engage them, developing relevant materials to engage with each segment, initiating outreach and participating in relevant meetings• Ensuring participation in relevant fundraising platforms• Providing integration with and support to US Global based fundraising and communications efforts Overall:• Support and guide colleagues in the unit and ensure close coordination with other functions in the Corporate Circle• Support in Institutional grant management• Leading the Renewable Energy theme of PRADAN

- Initiated PRADAN's operation in Koraput district, Odisha- Established PRADAN among the local community, government and other relevant stakeholders- Built and led a team of 20 professionals from backgrounds such as Management, Engineering, Agriculture, Social Science & Finance for the development of the Koraput district- Facilitated mobilization of more than 25,000 tribal women into community collectives such as SHGs and Women Federations and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs)- Prepared holistic development plan for the district along with these Community Institutions- Worked closely with the government in DFID funded OTELP Plus project and with private donors such as BMGF and TATA Trusts to implement the development plan made by the community- Created discernable changes in aspects such as gender equality, livelihoods and nutrition- Led the team in Project planning, Budgeting, Execution and Management- Mobilized required financial resources - Built a network of CSOs for cross-learning and fasten up the development process in the entire area

Assisted Dr. Norman Uphoff in his work on System of Rice Intensification (SRI)

- Facilitated holistic development plans in tribal areas of Jharkhand and CG, India with the community and other stakeholders- Mobilised women from tribal and other vulnerable families, helped them to work with each other for a common goal- Facilitated formation and strengthening of community collectives such as SHGs, Village Organizations and Women Federations- Facilitated linking these institutions with mainstream institutions for knowledge and resources to transform the plan into reality- Facilitated in building a development ecosystem for the overall development of the area- Contributed to building a team of professionals to facilitate the development process in these areas- Guided young professionals in their journey in the development sector- Build linkages to raise required resources from government and donor agencies to implement the plans made by the community
