Nice to meet you! I’m Srihari Srivatsa and I am a dedicated senior majoring in Computer Science and Math at UMass Amherst. My passion for computer science stems from my innate curiosity and thirst for knowledge. I love taking incredibly hard classes, watching youtube videos, and learning new concepts wherever I can. I find enjoyment in turning theoretical to practical, and creating a physical product customers can look to.If I am put in a room with other software engineers, and we are all given a completely new language to learn and a task to complete, I am confident that I will be one of the best in that room, because I focused on my fundamentals and properly understanding important concepts, which I believe are important to any career, including Computer Science!My main languages includes Python, Typescript and Javascript, however I have been exposed to many other languages, including C and Java, and I have worked with many different front-end and back-end frameworks. Over the summer, I interned as an AI engineer where I am learning to use technologies such as OpenAI, langchain, and streamlit, not to mention I am also improving my python skills.I’m currently interested in pursuing a career path in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, and I plan to continue my studies as a postgraduate student!
