Kavi is an audio entertainment production and streaming company for the South Indian market - starting with the Telugu language. We're working towards creating an all-in-one audio aggregate consisting of podcasts, audiobooks, audio shows, FM radio, independent music, and short-form content (most of which is produced in-house). As Founder and CEO, I lead a team of twelve (software developers, website developers, graphic designers, etc.) in developing India's next biggest streaming giant. The most significant software project is the cross-platform mobile application, which is being developed using React Native and Expo. The backend of this application is written in JS, which handles everything from form management to making API calls. iVue is a drone and world-mapping startup, challenging the age-old concept of drones being functionally limited to flying cameras. Instead, iVue builds flying modular computers, allowing one drone to perform infinite functions - whether that's feeding fish or performing real-time roof inspections. As the Project Manager & Architect for Worlds iVue, I led a team of eight software developers in building the next biggest and most user-friendly ground control software - Worlds iVue. The web app is written using JavaScript and the front-end framework Vue.JS (utilizing the Vite build tool). The project essentially used UDP and serial ports to communicate with the drone via the Mavlink communication protocol. I was a part of the development force of a custom wrapper API for the Mavlink communication protocol to abstract complexity when performing autonomous drone flights or mission planning through the Worlds iVue web application.Other responsibilities included: --→ Managed team of 8 via weekly team meetings, intermittent training sessions, and one-on-one meetings→ Utilized agile development methodologies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews / retrospectives→ Designed software and hardware architecture for Worlds iVue drone control web application→ Set up and managed company’s Linux server to streamline software development and standardize environment

As the Team Lead for the software development division of iVue, I led a team of five software developers in building a web-based product configurator to allow consumers to spec out and order a drone seamlessly and an informative and user-friendly / responsive website for the company. The configurator was programmed in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The website was originally built in a combination of Wordpress and HTML / CSS, but eventually was ported over to React.Other responsibilities included:--→ Played a key role in the design, development, and testing of product configurator→ Hosted weekly team meetings and employee training sessions to cover updates and increase productivity→ Maintained / documented / tested codebase, performed hot-fixes as needed, and managed weekly code deployments

As an intern in iVue's software development team, I worked on creating a cross-platform desktop application for enabling autonomous and computer vision functionality (assisted by the Pymavlink library) on iVue's drone lineup. This program was called iVue RoboControl and was written in Python using a UI framework known as Pywebview.
