As a Systems Designer at Miller Technology Incorporated, I design and test the Simulink model for various systems of a electric vehicle (EV), such as battery management, charging, thermal management and motor control. In the R&D, I work with CAN based tools like Vector CANape, Parker IQAN, Vehicle Spy, etc. and various HMIs.I have a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University, where I developed an automated setup involving a robotic arm for sanding wooden bowls with force and position feedback, using Simulink and Git. This project aimed to free a human operator from a hazardous task and mimic their technique and motion. I have also worked as a 'Control Systems Technician' at Martinrea International, where I troubleshooted and performed PLC modifications, created weld schedules and robot paths, installed and programmed robot controllers, weld controllers, end-of-arm tools, and welding machines for MIG welding applications. I am passionate about mechatronics engineering and industrial automation, and I have strong skills in designing, mathematics, and control systems.
Listed skills include Matlab, Microsoft Office, Programmable Logic Controller, Solidworks, and 8 others.
