Key Achievements – Created an innovative solution to surface schematic information as a service. It is called Swapi (Schema Web API) service. Collaborating with the product owners, business partners, and Scrum Masters and other stakeholders to estimate, and plan new projects.Make sure the team’s code quality and the coverage meets company standards and follows the Test Driven Development (TDD) patterns/principles. Our unit test coverage grew from 20% to 85% in the span of 2 years.

Key Achievements – Created a new service for the Charting application to show a time series trend analysis over multiple releases. Closely collaborated with the product, the content, and the frontend teams.Integrated various datasets namely, Pricing Data, Financials, Estimates in the Capital IQ Pro office plugin service. Provided the team with technical guidance to extend the service for other datasets and to integrate with other services.Trained and coached the new members of the team and supported them until they can execute projects independently. Designed and rebuilt the symbol resolution algorithm. Resolving stock exchange tickers, CUSIPS, ISINs symbols to their corresponding company ID or trading item ID. One symbol can be mapped to multiple IDs. The resolution algorithm runs a set of business rules and creates a one-to-one mapping between each symbol and ID. Every request to the Data API goes through this symbol resolution process, hence this is a core part of the legacy Capital IQ Data API.Integrated several new datasets into the Data API namely Investor Activism, and Corporate Governance & Takeover Defense, Benchmark Index Aggregates, American Depository Receipt (ADR), and Equity Capital Structure (ECS).Re-architected the old Credit Analytics content retrieval mechanism to increase maintainability and scalability and integrated Credit Analytics Benchmarks into the new architecture.

Key Achievements - Created a CHP (Credit Health Panel) score calculation engine which evaluates companies based on specified financial metrics and assigns them ranks relative to a list of similar companies. The CHP portal enables the user to assess the credit health of a company quickly and compare it with other similar companies. The CHP Score calculation engine was the core part of the CHP portal. Was also engaged in building CHP financial aggregates which is another key feature of the CHP portal.Re-designed the financial consolidated and unconsolidated data retrieval mechanism to fix the technical debt.Implemented caching in the Data API using Oracle Coherence to boost the performance.Involved in the application code test builds and deployment of non-production environments.
