• Strategic Sourcing: Identifying and developing potential vendors locally & globally for the right sourcing, achieving cost effective purchases of Raw Materials• Planning, organizing and controlling all requisite activities to perform such as Sourcing Techno - Commercial Evaluation, Negotiation, Recommendation, Ordering, Inspection, Expediting & Tracking, Reporting, Logistics and Delivery, Commissioning, Payment Processing, for local and import• Accountable for meeting customer orders by designing, implementing and monitoring procurement schedules • Vendor Development: Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms• • Devising and implementing policies & procedures to enable smooth functioning of operations• Vendor Development: Strengthening existing vendor source & developing alternate suppliers; communicating technical specifications, negotiating with Vendors, monitoring Vendor performance to ensure cost effective supply of quality material• Procurement: Ascertaining Material Requirements; identifying and developing a reliable Vendor base in local & overseas market for procurement of materials & spares Releasing supply schedules regularly to Vendors to ensure on time deliveries • Logistics: Negotiating with transporters, shippers/consignees to ensure seamless, cost-effective movement of consignment and timely delivery of orders• Finalizing freight rates with airlines and road transportation contracts as well as freight forwarding contracts for bulk consignments also for inbound-outbound freight finalization locally• Inventory Management: Governing the inventory function so as to curtail inventory-holding expenses and adherence to the minimum inventory level to minimize wastage Streamlining the system and procedures for effective inventory control for ensuring ready availability of materials to meet targets

Overall responsible for Bangalore 98,000 sqft and Hubli 20,000 sqft warehouse operation Coordinating with 3PL for day to day operation Overall responsible for 17 KPI and 20 3PL KPI for daily basis.Maintaining proper coordination with Sales, Service and Logistics for Karnataka Region.Monitor receipts, dispatches and inventory on a daily basis.Conduct physical verification of inventory daily, and ensure that SAP Vs ILS is matchingMaintain FIFO (First in first out) system in warehouse &control aging thru WMS system.To initiate insurance claims for damaged goods.Logistics Management-Supervising logistics operation for ensuring on timely deliveries and adherence to transit norms

 Accountable for overall operations of DC for servicing over 70 retail outlets in Karnataka and 30 outlets in Kerala and 30 outlets in Chennai, with a annual turnover of Rs 200+ Cr.Monitoring order picking and dispatching with proper documentation of all orders, loading and dispatch.Ensuring 100% dock audit of stock before dispatching.Manpower Planning and 3PL managementExecuting production and manpower schedules / plans for smooth execution of distribution at the shop floor within timeCo-ordinate with transporters,. to achieve seamless movement of consignment, ensuring timely deliveries Responsibility for DC efficiency as per KPI
