Worked in Tata Motors for 6.5 years, Timken for 4.5 years & General Electric for 11.5 years on projects to improve Performance, Reliability & Availability of our products by introducing new technologies. Acquired product life cycle experience in machine tools, bearings for industrial application, Aircraft engines, Steam Turbines & Aircraft engine derived gas turbines. Took solutions from conceptual stage to reality using rigorous design for six sigma (DMADOV- Define –Measure- Analyze-Design- Optimize-Validate) process & toll gate reviews. Used feedback during manufacturing, assembly, testing, commissioning & commercial operation as lessons learnt to improve subsequent designs.Played a key role in organization imperative of increasing work scope through influencing decisions, analysis ownership, design ownership, component/ systems ownership and creating regional impact by developing products for the region.
