Electrical Design Engineer
• Perform electrical extractions and S-parameter simulations to assess and optimize the electrical performance on advanced automotive microcontrollers Packages included MAPBGA (Mold Array Process-Ball grid Array), QFP (Quad Flat package) and QFN (Quad Flat No lead) packages.• Setup the stack up; assign material properties and performed RLC extractions and S-parameter simulation on packages.• S-parameter file is imported into Broadband Spice to generate RFM model for circuit simulations.• Worked with package designers to optimize the design based on package parasitics.• Electrical extractions of automotive radar products are performed on 128 cores in linux environment.• Worked on projects• i.MX6UL Ultralite: High performance, ultra-efficient processor family featuring advanced implementation of a single ARM cortex A-7 core.• S32K144, S32K148: 32bit ARM cortex based Automotive MCU.• MPC5746C: One of the MPC574 family MCUs which provide highly integrated, safe and secure chip solution• MPC5775K: Highly integrated automotive radar MCU for advanced driver assistance.
