• Possess business domain knowledge in Database Development. • Proficient knowledge on handling big data using Hadoop architecture, HDFS, Map Reduce, YARN application, H Base and ecosystems like Hive, Pig, Flume, Oozie & Sqoop.• Good knowledge on Hadoop Cluster architecture and monitoring the cluster.• Well versed with developing and implementing MapReduce jobs using Hadoop to work with Big Data.• Experience in designing both time driven and data driven automated workflows using Oozie for cron jobs.• Very good understanding of Partitions, bucketing concepts in Hive and designed both Managed and External tables in Hive to optimize performance. • Experience in database design using Stored Procedure, Functions, Triggers and strong experience in writing complex queries for MySQL, SQL Server and Oracle.• Expertise in Data visualization by Power BI and Tableau.• Experience in Maintaining the hadoop cluster on AWS EMR and possess good knowledge on AWS S3, EC2, VPC, RDS• Developing Shell Scripts and Batch Jobs to schedule various Hadoop Program.• Experience working on Big data with Azure. Connecting HDInsight to Azure and working on Big Data technology.• Hands on experience in working on Spark SQL queries, Data frames, import data from Data sources, perform transformations, perform read/write operations, save the results to output directory into HDFS.• Transforming the data by using Spark Sql, Hive and Spark streaming. • Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design OOAD and development of software using UML Methodology.• Experience working with JAVA, J2EE, JDBC, ODBC, JSP, Java Eclipse, Java Beans, EJB, Servlets, MS SQL Server.
