I have over 29 years of experience in Indian financial markets, essentially in equity research and fund management. I started as an analyst in 1994 at India's first boutique equity research firm. Over the next 25 years, I covered sectors like Real Estate, Infrastructure, Industrials, Telecom, and Power at Edelweiss, Motilal, and HDFC MF. I joined PGIM India Mutual Fund as CIO - Equity in July 2019 and became overall CIO in December 2021. During my tenure, PGIM's total equity assets under management grew from USD 170 mn to USD 2.5 bn. After spending twenty years in the Indian mutual fund industry, the time has come to move on. I am happy to join Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company as their Chief Investment officer and begin a new journey in the Insurance industry.
