With over 28 years of experience in technology management, finance, and general management, I am a seasoned consultant to VCs on advanced manufacturing, covering semiconductor, solar, and display industries. I provide technology and valuation advisory services to help VCs identify, evaluate, and invest in promising and innovative companies in these domains.As a former Wall Street analyst, investment banker, and investor relations professional, I have a deep understanding of the financial markets, the equity research process, and the investment banking operations. I have worked with big banks such as Citi, Barclays, and Oppenheimer, as well as successful start-ups such as Summit Research and Hermes-Microvision, which was acquired by ASML. I have published in Barron's, Investor Business Daily, and other media outlets, and have appeared on CNBC and Reuters TV. I have also obtained multiple certifications from FINRA, including Series 7, 63, 66, 86, and 87.As a former technology executive and engineer, I have a strong background in electronics, semiconductor, semiconductor equipment, OLED, LED, IT, automotive, polymers, and petrochemicals. I have worked with various semiconductor equipment companies such as AMAT, LRCX, ASML, and KLAC, and have been involved in marketing, sales, operations, new product development, and supply chain management. I have also secured dielectric business from Intel for Novellus and Samsung and TSMC business for Hermes-Microvision. I have a Ph.D. and a post-doc in chemical engineering and material science, and I am an Intel Master Innovator.My mission is to leverage my technology expertise and valuation skills to help VCs make informed and strategic decisions on advanced manufacturing investments.
