Worked as a QA Architect remotely, responsible for designing the Quality strategy across the company for multiple teams. As Toggl does not have any dedicated QA resources, acted as an advisor of Quality overseeing the Project releases, establishing Test management practices, and creating the processes and automation tools for optimal Quality and cost management among the Engineering and product teams. Below are the accomplishments,• Established the Best Quality practices across the company from Unit testing to beta testing.• Implemented, overseen, and contributed to the adoption of a company-wide test management platform, fostering positive organizational change by uniting departments such as Engineering, Product, and Design in a collaborative testing environment.• Owned the Quality aspect of the biggest release yet in Toggl, Shared Authentication for all the different Toggl products without any major issues by adopting risk-based testing.• Initiated a cultural shift by instilling a focus on Quality at Toggl, where testing responsibilities areshared among the development and product teams in the absence of dedicated QA resources.• Created guidelines for all the aspects of Quality.

As a lead to the testing teams of EdgeLINC product, managed the entire product testing aspects from start to end. Wore multiple hats during difficult times of COVID-19 and managed PO role for the testing team as well along with individual contribution to the EdgeLINC product.• Built an end-to-end hybrid testing framework using Robot Framework along with API validation toautomate all the regression and smoke test suites. This was capable of interfacing with embedded components as well as the cloud at multiple points to get quicker feedback. This reduced the time taken for regression from 5 days to 1 day for each major release.• Created and presented validation roadmap in multiple PIs and ensured that the overall Quality of the product was met. Was responsible for conducting scrum ceremonies, guiding, and assisting team members technically as well as functionally. Brought in a positive change in the release cycle time as well as the quality of the product, making sure that no critical issues were reported from the production for more than 2 years.• Creation and reporting of QA metrics for the product along with defect trend analysis to keep tabs on the Quality of the product.• Built multiple simulators to mimic the data collection from different IOT devices and deployed it in the cloud (AWS) and orchestrated using Kubernetes to use them on demand for functional as well as performance testing.

Joined as an Engineer, worked on Verification and validation of multiple Avionics products ranging from different Proximity sensors and Fire protection systems for different aircraft. Honoring my contribution, I was promoted to Senior Engineer and worked on critical software of the Fuel management system for KC-390.• Worked on multiple Level-B critical software in my tenure and without any critical issues. As Safety is paramount in Avionics, it honed my testing skills and had a big impact on me in my career.• As a team effort, created a custom test framework in Python as there is a strict tool qualification for any external package or framework to be used.• Worked on White box as well as black box testing and created automation scripts in different levels of software testing.• Worked on creating multiple common LabVIEW VIs to integrate our software system to test hardware or emulate them.
