I am a Sale & Purchase shipbroker and a Naval architect with 7 years of shipyard experience. I have finished a Master's in Maritime management. My interest in ships is intense.In my Undergraduate (Naval architecture), I gained knowledge of Ship structures, Ship design (including Hull form modeling, Stability analysis, Hydrostatics, Propulsion, and Resistance), Ship Construction (including Study on longitudinal strength and Scantling calculations, Selection of materials and Welding methodology for ship structures) and Ship machinery. I had done an academic design project for a double-acting ice-class tanker (deadweight-100K), which I specifically preferred because of its arduousness. I find things riveting when they are challenging. When I started working in shipyards, my enthusiasm for the field made me understand things better practically. I have built hulls through fabrication and erection. Involvement in Hull outfit, Hull accommodation, and machinery works, made me learn extensively about ships. Fortunately, I had the privilege to be involved in making the largest bulk Carrier and major defense vessels including Floating Dock, which is an honor. I sincerely regard maritime service as a fantastic investment of time and interest since I can never seem to stop learning. With a high interest in improving the maritime field, I did my Master’s thesis on the adoption of blockchain technology, which is the future. The scope of the thesis was to find the best possible strategy for adopting blockchain in the oil and gas industry, especially in Norway.Having comprehensively understood my passion and strength, I eventually recognized (literally with the help of a Venn diagram) that it would be ideal for me to spend my time in Sales and Purchase (Shipbroking), of all sorts of ships, which is what I do for a living now.
