Led the Protect team and was the owner the Protect component of a cloud based cyber security solution in CASB space. Protect is a central component for managing and applying the rule sets for multiple security services , both offline and inline, and for triggering remediation actions. Owned and developed the protect rules engine both on the offline api solution and on the inline cloud based proxy solutionReleased multiple versions of Protect to production. Supported the proxy and protect components along with DevOps and Infrastructure teams in production cloud servers.

One of the main architects of the cloud based, big data Security Information and Event Management solution. Performed a lead role in the entire software life cycle of this product from requirements to software specifications, architecture, design, development/implementation, installation and testing. Technically lead the development activities and developers in the areas pertaining to collection and configuration.

Design and develop highly scalable, distributed SAAS applications for a cloud based Web Filtering and Email cyber security solution.Architected, designed and built a reliable distributed security meta data transport mechanism. This transports all the user activity logs to a nosql database for perusal by user's company administrators.Designed and developed a clustering framework and applications for a distributed, horizontally scalable cloud based configuration and rules engine.Developed features on the SMTP server and the email filtering component for a cloud based MTA.

Via acquisition of Ansoft Corporation by Ansys.Architected a Large scale distributed solution for a EDA product in high frequency similation space.Managed and tracked the development schedules and project cycles for 10 developers for over a year and half, using adaptations of agile methodologies.Architected, designed and developed a multi platform, multi threaded, distributed processing application framework. Developed a layered communication framework for enabling function calls across processes and across machines. Each layer is event driven and can be dynamically replaced during runtime with the most suitable protocol. The framework consists of a code generator, threading models, marshalling layer, application framework and transport layer for distributed processing. It has a simple load balancing mechanism and also interacts with third party grid and cluster software like LSF, SGE, HPC and PBS.Worked on HFSS, Designer and other electromagnetic, circuit EDA products, in areas of reporting, distributed computing and other core technologies.

Worked on the middle layer components, developed Business Objects and Business Services the key components of which include Security, Session, Catalog and Business logic rules for discounts and orders and approvals.Worked in the modelling and simulation group at Ramco's R&D division at chennai. Was involved in the Ramco project of designing and implementing simulators for IAF. Also developed a Cockpit Procedure Trainer.
