This role is the perfect intersection of cutting edge technology and leadership and at a time when payments has from a bad word has become the key word across all domains I am responsible for the success of overall business in APAC and Europe, including ; business strategy, thought leadership, customer success, growth and sales, channel/ecosystem landscape, product and solution readiness, business operational aspects, technical initiatives, marketing & PR, talent strategy and overall business profitability. Leading a team of AM’s and sales managers,my clients include First Data , ACI, Atos to POS companies VeriFone, Ingenico to wallet companies such as PaytmMore about me:My career started at WDC whose solutions centered around using the mobile to connect into backend databases for retrieving inventory information – Yes sounds alien now but back then with mobile call charges at Rs 16/ per call and no data on the mobile - it was a great solution . Counted Volvo as one of my key clients. Adding diversity to my career, I moved to a new chapter in my career – Speedera ( a company which would later be acquired by Akamai ) handling diverse roles and clientele across media, entertainment and High tech retail , wearing multiple hats across sales and strategic account management across Europe. My key clients included Microsoft UK, Shell, erstwhile Nokia, Amazon, SKF to even the Vatican using Akamai's solutions .After being " Akamai"tised , I embarked upon a career at Zenith Software , an IT services organization ,where I based in London ,handled their European sales across insurance and banking sectors building ODC's I moved back to India in 2009 to continue in a leadership role at Tarang.
