As a firmware/software engineer, I was involved in the product development process at Schnider Electric where I worked on various products such as UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply), Battery management systems and cooling systems. Some of the key ways I contributed were: • Made significant improvements in the development process by changing the protocol used. This simplified the whole system by making communications faster and increasing overall efficiency by 20%. • I was the sole developer on the project called MicrLink Simulator which is a one of a kind software that is used by teams from Schneider Electric all over the world. This simulator mimics the functionality of an actual product and is used as a prototype for testing.• My work involved collaborating with teams from China, United States, France, and Denmark on a daily basis. I worked with these teams on projects which required modifications to the products to fulfill customer needs in these countries.• To learn HTML and CSS, I worked with two other developers to create and design a web page that showcased the capabilities of our team. This page gave us great exposure and the teams in India were assigned many more projects to make full use of these available skills.

• My first project as an intern was to integrate products into a new technology ( technically, a server which acted as a gateway) that helped integrate the products to the IOT(Internet of Things). This was particularly instrumental as this technology enhanced communications between products even when accessed from different countries.• I was also a part of the team that implemented a new hardware system that helped in reducing the project time by half.
