• Created monthly production schedule for 50 Turning lines, 13 Heat Treat Lines, 10 Final Turn lines and 4 Broach lines, prioritized job orders and changeovers based on incoming Purchase Orders.• Managed $6 million of direct inventory comprising of 40 SKU’s and monthly sales of around $4.5 million.• Created reports on inventory analysis, capacity planning, weekly sales reports, open/past due orders, service parts and over time requirements.• Calculated a surcharge to avoid customer front loading of orders, negotiated with suppliers to even the demand and balance the product mix.• Demand planning of finished goods, negotiating consignment inventory and planning on service part requirements.• Worked with production department for assigning manpower for overtime requirements and quality department on priority parts to be inspected.• Collaborate with warehouse and shipping department to fulfil daily orders, reconcile inventory, and backtrack to identify discrepancies in barcoding.• Work with maintenance department to create monthly Preventive Maintenance (PM) and quench change schedules for the turning lines.• Supervised cycle counts twice a year to ensure integrity of on hand stocks and estimate obsolete / damaged products (Rust / Improper Tags / Reworks).• Worked with end customer on new business, implementing Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) before initiating mass production.

-Inventory and manage indirect material for forging- Verify usage of tools on a daily basis- Manage inventory and orders based on production schedule- Communicate shortages to engineering to ensure in-house fabrication is done on time- Work with die assembly personnel in coordinating tooling usage and inventory- Compile/generate inventory information such as graphs, pivot tables, and queries to be presented to management for effective decision making.- Arrange shipments for die re-facing and tool reclamation with the shipping department supervisor- Perform scheduled inventory twice per week on tool crib shelves and cabinets and record daily usage in Excel spreadsheet.-Update schedule results, bar code error analysis, and production tracking data daily, and in a timely fashion for management review- Daily interaction with Operators, Press Leaders, Technical Manager and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure tooling issues are communicated to all affected.- Monitor the incoming package delivery shelf and alert tool crib staff of packages remaining more than a week on the shelf.- Empty trash containers in the tool crib and keep the floor and area clean.- Maintain Pre-Set tooling on shop floor.
