I seek nothing more than a handshake with you (yes, "YOU!"), but when I shake, I use hands that hold the wisdom of professional experience and the enthusiastic energy of a patient & loving heart.With a PhD in Chemical Engineering & Statistics, a Masters in Sociology, a Black Belt in Six Sigma, a Brown Belt in Tae Kwon Do, a passionate love for music & for the playing of musical instruments, an endless appetite for reading, a smoldering & volatile fancy for adventure sports, and a mysterious loyalty to spiritual science & mystic poetry, I have been blessed to taste life in all its richness!What I do now: I head Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru (India), and would love to do handshakes with professionals to support the school in all its activities (education delivery, R&D, student welfare, tech transfer, consultancy, administration, and community service). I seek to do all this in a mutually beneficial way (because doing all that is a civic & social responsibility, after all). I work in the broad realms of applied sociology & implementation science (with focus on women's empowerment, rural development, and tribal development), quality management, statistical modeling & data analysis, sustainable low-cost materials & technologies, and the science of indigenous knowledge & heritage. I have traveled across the world, albeit entirely in the northern hemisphere, and have shared my "joie" with all - human or other! This has provided insights that drive my inner engine in compassionate and intuitive ways that I don't always understand, but always value greatly! I seek now to give, and to give in whatever ways would serve individual & collective interests. It matters not what your SOCIAL LABEL is, for ultimately, I am SOCIABLE!
