The IMC is the largest and fastest-growing trade organization in the IoT/M2M sector, with over 25,000 OEMs, enterprise users, and apps developers as members, and an average of 300 new members joining weekly. The IMC brings a new approach – it will increase deployments of IoT/M2M solutions by proving the business case of the technology to those that would adopter it. - Served as Chief Technology Officer, managing an innovation organization, and responsible for Internet of Things (IoT) technology/product strategy, development, delivery and customer support of a smart grid energy efficiency solution globally.- Architect of the business transformation of the company from an industrial hardware company into a IoT software business in 12 months. (fka NextPoint Networks/NexTone Communications)- Co-Founded NexTone Communications in February 1998, serving as its Chief Technology Officer and Visionary.- Identified Session Border Controller (SBC) market in VoIP and educated/evangelized the marketplace about the problem and its solution. VON Magazine acknowledged this effort by naming Sridhar a “VON Pioneer and SBC Father” in October 2006.- As CTO, made strategic decisions about product and technology. NexTone differentiated itself as being the only software based SBC running on commercial off-the-shelf hardware. This was an industry-pioneering move, and independent third party testing proved that NexTone’s SBC technology was more scalable than competitors’ purpose-built hardware solutions. - Worked actively in standards bodies such as GSM Association (GSMA) and Multi Service Forum (MSF) promoting standardization and usage of SBC and IPX.- Guided technology direction, product strategy, product roadmaps and product marketing especially in emerging technology and market spaces.- Managed and maintained NexTone’s active patent portfolio of over 25 patent applications, including 15 on which I was an inventor.- Provided effective marketing with over 60 speaking engagements to promote SBCs and NexTone.
