Srivani is well established in the areas of microbiology, molecular biology, infectious disease diagnosis, microbiology lab establishment and administration with 15+ years of experience in teaching, training, research and consulting.She has successfully started short time assignments as Research Assistant with Markham Stouffville Hospital, and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. She thrives to become an successful professional in healthcare field. During her tenure as a faculty and researcher at University of Madras, she worked elaborately on characterization and antimicrobial resistance of infectious agents in collaboration with clinicians from hospitals. She received financial grants for research projects on “Microbiology of Diabetic Foot Ulcer” , High Level Aminoglycoside Resistance in Enterococci“, Quinolone and Fluroquinolone resistance in Salmonella spp”as a principal investigator and managed projects both technically and administratively.
