AS400 operations and Administrator roles and responsibilities:Working on 24×7 matrix support, as part of team provide support to client whenever requirements.Handling user profile management creation/deletion/modification.Monitoring and controlling all the subsystems.Batch jobs, Interactive jobs, output queues and job queues.Taking Daily, weekly and monthly backup of production through BRMS, AS/400 servers.Start the MQ Monitor subsystems and jobs & start& stop the MQ Monitor jobs.Freezing/unfreezing Business Data & Run group system batch.Maintaining Ticketing portal by closing request and incident raise by user.communications through the server between production and disaster recovery boxes.Replication of production server of disaster recovery using QEDD and IIDR.Monitoring Third party tool such as Biz Manager and linoma GoAnywhere.Performing file movement from PC to server and vice versa using FTP or data Transfer tools.Taps rotation.
