Developed the Tag name, Alarm Database for Wonderware InTouch SCADA (10,000 tags) and HMI screens in InTouch 2015. Developed a Reporting Software in Visual Basic for their billing application using the data from the Historian. Revamped the network of the whole terminal which included assigning IP’s, Configuring Switches and the installations of firewalls was done by a teammate.Docks and VCUs Modernization: Created a new company standard HMI template for Docks and VCUs (Vapor Combustion Units) in Wonderware Archestra System Platform. Installed at 12 VCUs, supporting 7 docks. More installations being rolled out by teammates. Significantly reduced vessel loading times, reportable emissions events, and fuel gas costs. Savings from the re-programming of just two of the older VCUs is an estimated $180K annually. KM’s impressive dock metrics were a factor in securing a major new customer for the Pasadena terminal. -

Feb 2015 - Aug 2017Houston, Tx, Us• Query the Historian Database with SQL knowledge for the task at hand.• Work with MS SQL to update, maintain and create databases to work with Application Scripts.• Understand the use of Hyper V and VMWare tools to work with virtual servers for having a LAB/LIVE environment.• Installed Rockwell Thin Clients / Proface Machines on the docks and setup up the configuration on the Thin Manager.• Setup and Maintain InTouch Access Anywhere on the live web for monitoring purposes.• Configure VFD’s using Connected Components Workbench.• Setup Omni Flow computers on the network integrate with PLC’s using Modbus Communication.• Maintain control system documentation (Cause/Effect Diagrams) and software version control.Notable projects included:BOSTCO RGP: A new, volatile product for this KM location. Loading and unloading of RGP from rail cars to bullet tanks. Loading and unloading from bullet tanks to customer pipeline. Wrote the new PLC program, with heavy interlocking required to make this process as safe as possible. Modbus communications of flow rates and statuses to/from the pipeline customer’s SCADA system. Wrote and performed simulation with AOIs. Configured VFD’s in the whole system with the aid of a teammate. Also led the effort to drive the HMI programming and integration of this project to the system.PAS&GP Conversion: As a part of a 3 man team converted two stand alone InTouch Applications each consisting of 100,000 tags from stand alone InTouch 2009 to Wonderware System Platform. Created a new standard for tanks, pumps, transmitters, lineups, sequencing, reports and other varied customer needs. Took a better part of a year to create these standards which paved the way for converting similar older terminals using such templates by other teammates.
