I led UX research across 8 weeks to build a user portal for our client - Safe Place International (SPI), a non-profit that aids doubly-marginalized communities (refugees who are LGBTQIA+ and/or single parents) through holistic development programming. The portal provides a safe platform to connect and empower current members and alumni across the world, and protect them from online harassment and discrimination.I led a team of 6 UX researchers in an Agile environment, defined UX strategy, research goals, and built a product roadmap with the design team. I designed, supervised and co-ran user interviews to validate assumptions about users and their goals, conducted usability tests to evaluate prototypes and iterate our solution to reflect user needs around trust, protection, connection and technical limitations like poor Internet connectivity.

I designed an app for menstruating persons to track their period and related health aspects that influence menstrual health. I discovered unmet user needs from competitive analysis and user interviews. Using affinity mapping and empathy maps, I defined user goals and tasks, iteratively designed prototypes, and tested them with target users to create handoff-ready artifacts for further development.

I implemented the Google 5-day design sprint to create a home decor service for college grads renting apartments. I ideated and designed solutions by sketching, storyboarding, studying competitor products through a lightning demo, prototyping and testing the solution. I evaluated 8 rapid designs to find anoptimal app design.

I teach powerful ancient yoga practices to address physical and mental health issues, relevant to today's seekers. I have helped several executives, independent professionals, homemakers and youngsters take charge of their lifestyle and align themselves to their goals by using Hatha yoga as a tool to bring focus, health and wellbeing. My teaching approach is based on trust, empathy and establishing genuine connections with seekers. Workshops are structured to highlight self-care, discipline and awareness. I am certified to teach Hatha Yoga by the Isha Hatha School at Isha Foundation, India, where I completed over 1750 hours in training. I have since organized and led workshops across 15 cities in the US, India and the Caribbean Islands.

I taught high school mathematics and introductory computer fundamentals to grade 9 and 10 students. I coached and counseled my students for national level qualifying examinations. I also oversaw their supporting extra-curricular activities and mentored them for competitive academics and vocational training.

With a constant goal to advocate and encourage public transport to Singaporeans and counter any and all environmental damage, I planned multi-billion dollar projects for many of Singapore's key highways.I studied existing traffic patterns on arterial roads, processed traffic delay complaints from citizens, made field visits to assess damages and recommended cost-effective solutions. I built computer simulated models based on new development proposals to forecast a 20-year traffic growth impact and recommended measures to alleviate projected traffic congestion.To optimize land use, I collaborated with multiple government agencies to ensure judicious use of public funds, counter adverse environmental impact and keep West Singapore traffic effective and efficient.

I collaborated with and assisted senior transport, civil and soil engineers to execute soil analysis, site inspections and monitor the Kallang Paya Lebar Expressway project. I completed the entire internship on-site where the expressway was built.
