I have spent most of my life working with the English language. As a 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿, I have 24 years of experience teaching English, from verbal ability for competitive exams such as CAT, GRE, and GMAT to Shakespeare for post-graduate students of English Literature.As a 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿, I have worked with diverse clients, such as art stores, jewellery brands, hospitals, and organic products. These include: GreenTechMW, ISBACON22, Café Totaram, Roots Auto Products Private Limited, Your Once, Dimexon Jewellery Creation Private Limited, TiE University, The Amaya Store, Enzu Life, CDIIC, AOSRA-PM/AORA INDIA, Sam Industries, Ganga Hospital, Sierra ODC, and Corona awareness booklets for a public safety campaign.As an 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿, I have refined website content, fiction, poetry, and spirituality books. I am also the 𝗰𝗼-𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 of 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘗𝘰𝘦𝘮, the Red River Anthology of Contemporary Erotic Poetry.As a 𝗽𝗼𝗲𝘁, I have published two collections: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘈𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘤 and 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘦. My poems have also appeared in several anthologies and journals, such as 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘙𝘦𝘥 𝘙𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘉𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘰𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘗𝘰𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘺, 𝘕𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦/𝘎𝘢𝘴 𝘘𝘵𝘳𝘭𝘺, and 𝘌𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴 𝘓𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘑𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭. My poem won the 5th Cycle of the Architectural Poetry Contest floated by the 𝘈𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘑𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘖𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 2021. I was shortlisted for the 𝘞𝘌 𝘒𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢 𝘋𝘢𝘴 𝘗𝘰𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴, 2020, and nominated for the 𝘉𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘦𝘵 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺, 2018.As the 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘔𝘺𝘯𝘥 𝗽𝗼𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁, I used my storytelling skills to spark conversations about mental health in a safe and supportive space for listeners of all ages.Apart from other venues and occasions, I have been a speaker at TEDxYouth@Lovedale in October 2018, TEDx GCT and TEDxKids@RSPuram in 2013. I wrote a weekly column on poetry- 𝘙𝘶𝘯𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘗𝘰𝘦𝘵𝘳𝘺 - for the Coimbatore MetroPlus Saturday edition from February 2014 to December 2015.I now write a monthly column on poetry - 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘝𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦- for the Deccan Herald.
