Sriwan Siangjun is a Managing Partner, Facilitator and Learning Designer at InsightPact. They is proficient in Spanish, English and Portuguese. During my tenure at InsightPact, I reported directly to Wan when I was a Program Coordinator. We worked on consulting projects together with various clients - from health and non-communicable diseases to human rights and the environment. When Wan was the project lead, she understood what clients needed from the get-go, and she made sure that I - and other teammates - were focused on the project objectives while delivering quality services and experiences for our clients. But the aspects of her working style that I appreciated the most were those two qualities I mentioned: caring personally and challenging directly. The nature of our work in InsightPact was a very high-stress, complex environment, because we were working with clients to address wicked problems and social issues. Thus, on top of listening to clients, Wan was very intentional in paying attention to her teammates' personal needs as well - and then finding ways to address those needs in a manner that led to better work-life balance for everyone. On the other hand, Wan could also be counted on to challenge ideas and question the norm, when it came to innovating in the work that we were doing. She was open to sharing her point of view - and then to have a deeper conversation with other people who disagreed with her. She believed there was always a better way to do things - and was not afraid to fight for it when the opportunity was right. These - and more - are why I recommend Wan.
