I create up-to-date materials for learners taking the IELTS, coordinating syllabi and course content with the Director of Studies. I also participate in writing scripts and performing in videos for our social media outreach and presentations.

I write, edit, and record English-language content for a variety of organizations and individuals. Past projects have included narration for a business proposal, an audiobook, and an English-language museum exhibition guide. In addition to academic projects, I have written and performed in short films for Russian filmmakers and assisted with re-dubbing of dialogue and song into English.

I have provided personalized online lessons in English as a second language for students preparing for the IELTS exam using the Skype platform.

I lead both one-on-one and group classes to students in both general English and IELTS Exam preparation. Lessons are provided both in-person and online. I supplement the curriculum with native English language materials including newspapers, videos, and audio files.

I completed a Master of Arts in Sociology by conducting an ethnographic/interview-based study of parents and their attitudes about child-rearing at a local Gymboree. This study included close to 50 hours of on-site observation and close to 30 hours of both in-person and telephone interviews that I recorded, transcribed, and analyzed. I completed coursework in family sociology, feminist theory, sociological theory, ethnographic methods, demographic science, and Russian language study.

I worked within large firms including Morgan Stanley and The Roof Center as well as with smaller, local construction firms and accounting offices. I reorganized company archives/documents based on specific instructions, created/transcribed documents, and prepared mailings on a regular basis in these positions.

I administered a personality survey using the Likert scale for the HANDLS (Healthy Aging in Neighborhoods of Diversity across the Lifespan) interim study. I conducted the surveys in Baltimore residents' homes as well as over the phone. During this 3-month contract, I was responsible for coordinating travel and scheduling with my colleagues. I kept accurate records of attempts to reach survey participants, their responses, and miscellaneous challenges in completing the study.
