I am involved in education and research in physics at IIT-Madras at the Department of Physics. I am focused on research involving femto- and sub-femtosecond dynamics of nanoscale atomic systems, nanoscale superfluid systems, EUV physics with synchrotrons and table-top laser sources.I am equally involved in technologies concerning photonic devices and photolithography at deep-UV and EUV wavelengths - in particular, laser plasma based sources for EUV lithography wherein we successfully realised a US patent.I am passionate about physics and photonics. As an educator I strive to find appealing ways to convey the subject and concepts in the lecture hall and laboratory, while as researcher innovations and creativity in science and technology keep me going.
