I’m in the process of adapting the unclassified US DoD Interrogation methodology refined over the last 20 + years of the Global War on Terror to a domestic law enforcement and forensic interviewing audience. This methodology has been highly informed by the FBI-administered High-Value Detainee Interrogation Group and summarizes best practices for interrogation that do not involve the use of force. It is psychologically hard hitting, effective, controls for false confessions, and is Geneva Conventions and Law of War compliant.
