Helping organizations and individuals build resilience to climate change by sharing knowledge about climate change impacts, identifying strategic priorities and actions to adapt, and leveraging resources and relationships to create adaptation projects and initiatives.Key accomplishments:■ Helped Yukoners to develop, launch, and share knowledge from climate change adaptation initiatives (20+ projects totaling $4m+ in funding) that support community and organizational resilience to climate change.■ Delivered dozens of presentations on climate change to First Nations citizens, high school students, rural community members, and other interested individuals and organization using an accessible approach to communicate the relevant, practical implications of climate change for each audience.■ Provided strategic advice and project leadership to support Yukon government’s efforts to assess, prioritize and respond to climate change-related risks.Note: Position reclassified from Adaptation and Outreach Coordinator in February 2016

Responsible for overall coordination between ICCCAD’s research programmes, staff, and visiting researchers. Provided strategic advice on communications and knowledge management, and represented the organization at meetings and events in Bangladesh, China and Germany.Key accomplishments:■ Successfully pitched a collaborative research project to Grameenphone, securing a data-sharing agreement with Bangladesh's largest cellphone provider (50+ million subscribers)■ Contributed research, writing and editorial support for a 7-part series of reports on climate change loss and damage for the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN)■ Organized a workshop attended by 18 academic institutions, non-profits and government organizations with an interest in advancing weather-indexed based insurance solutions in Bangladesh.

Oversaw the First Nations Comprehensive Public Policy Framework Project, and assisted with policy analysis and development across the organization.

Asssisted with the development of speeches, reports, briefing notes and other communications and information products for the India desk of the South Asian Relations Division (Contract)

Analyzed and developed briefings on issues such as climate change, food security and energy, and contributed to reports, diplomatic notes and correspondence for the High Commission's Political and Economic section (Co-op term)

Explored the use of remote sensing technology in climate change monitoring and agricultural forecasting, and developed an index of Government of Canada projects and programs that rely on space assets (Co-op term)
