A transformational leader and educator with an extensive set of academic credentials, a diverse array of leadership and management expertise, rewarding and impactful experiences within a variety of organizational settings (for-profit, non-profit, government, military, community settings, and education), and a passion for understanding and empowering the intersectional nature and expression of people’s various identities. With over a decade of professional work experience, primary responsibilities have been to develop strategies for ongoing organizational improvement, coordinate new educational programs, write curricula to deliver top notch programs, and analyze and assess program efficacy motivating both adults and youth. My core strength is to handle a high-volume workload, while simultaneously building relationships, engaging with concurrent teams, writing reports, and providing professional guidance, advice, and decision support to senior leadership.In addition to my hands-on experience, I bring an extensive array of knowledge gleaned from both my formal and informal education. With a BA in Religious Studies from Wells College, a Master of Education in Human Sexuality and a Master of Social Work from Widener University, and a Doctorate in Education in Leadership and Innovation from New York University, I have spent many years analyzing humanity and culture through a variety of lenses. Though my educational pursuits may be labeled “eclectic” – religion, sexuality, and social work are often seen as mutually exclusive fields – I have always seen them as pathways to understanding how individuals relate and connect to their communities and the larger world. My Doctorate utilized this understanding of individuals and their connections to the world to understand how to influence and transform organizational cultures.
