Mahanagar Gas is a leading City Gas Distribution company in India. In my current role, I am responsible for CNG, PNG (Domestic, Commercial, Industrial), Government & STU business, Network expansion, New business innovations and CRM.

The challenge for any new entrant organization in a well-established industry, at least in India, is how to communicate its strength to the people at large. That is where even a hospital requires 'marketing'. Marketing at Artemis has been very well executed since inception. I was given the task of bearing the torch forward in September 2008.With an army of highly qualified doctors willing to run the extra mile and burn the proverbial midnight oil, with a core administrative team that catalyses the service to the patients and an India-wide sales team that is un-precedented in any other hospital, Artemis is headed to becoming India's most trusted health-care brand.

Part of the Apollo tyres corporate group, actively working at the Hospital / health industry business unit, trying to expand the group foothold in the market and among the target populace.

(1) Intially a part of the team that revolutionized Indian petroleum retail market by launching world-class Reliance petroleum retail outlets in part of Rajasthan state. (2) Later worked in the International Business team wherein tried to establish Reliance foothold in petroleum retail markets of East Africa, South Africa, Central and East Europe.

1. Handled Apollo's largest product category namely Truck tyres, for pan-India. Included driving the Truck tyres product range, new product development, deciding pricing strategies, designing trade schemes for the Indian market, designing consumer promotions etc.

Responsibility : State LeaderMarkets : Western Uttar PradeshTurnover responsible for : Rs 18 crores per annum (approx.)Handling a team of 1 Depot and 13 personnel.ACHIEVEMENTS :1. Highest growth in the top 2 brands in the North :7% in Parachute average growth rates in these segments < 2% p.a.14% in Sweekar

• Main activities : Aim at increasing sales average every six months. This was achieved by :a) appointing more dealersb) probing more marketsc) intensive customer contactd) presenting the company policy time-to-time in a manner attractive to dealerse) motivating dealers to rotate their moneys faster with the company, therebyf) balancing overall sales and outstandings of the District office.
