Facilitated counselling sessions for children and adults for challenges including behavioural issues and hyperactivity for children, self-esteem, sexual abuse, grief, parenting, relationship issues, and stress. I worked majorly using a Transpersonal-Humanistic Psychology approach, along with using techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Worked extensively with children and adults in primary prevention of child sexual abuse. Was part of a 4 member Nationwide Campaign on child sexual abuse, where we conducted over 150 programmes in the State capitals of India over a four-month period for children, parents, teachers, Child Welfare Committee members, Childline members, Psychology students and Counselling Psychologists.Facilitated workshops for adults on counselling skills, life skills, intimate partner violence, psychology of perpetrators, interpersonal relationships, suicide prevention, classroom management, stress management, emotional quotient, learning styles and positive psychology. Was part of the faculty for a 45-hours certificate course 'Psychology of Interpersonal Violence' for BSc Psychology (Honours) students at Christ (Deemed to be University).Developed content for long term and short term courses like life skills program for children from grades 1-7, safety workshops for children of various age groups, and was involved in developing tools to talk about child sexual abuse with children.Headed the ‘Mukthkatha’ project that involved documenting (interviewing and writing) the stories of individuals who have gone through struggle and overcome it, with a focus on the factors that enabled them to do so and their journey through it. Supervised groups of undergraduate psychology interns for a three-month period and supervised a research project on dating violence.
