As Outreach Director, I co-organized the first and second annual 5K Run for Jeev Fundraiser for mental health awareness, which in total raised over $60,000 for the nationwide mental health nonprofit Active Minds and the Run for Jeev Foundation. I also maintain the website and social media presence for the 501c(3) nonprofit. In addition, I design promotional materials for foundation events and coordinate volunteer efforts on race day.

I am the VP of Marketing at the nonprofit Stories Through the Ages, which aims to promote literacy among underprivileged children in Houston. I maintain the organization's social media presence and design promotional materials and also lead initiatives such as organizing a writing competitions, collecting 1,200+ books to donate to Houston Title 1 schools, and holding bi-monthly reading sessions at my local library.

I co-founded Coloratura, a program that uses music to connect to residents of assisted living facilities and nursing homes. As part of the program, I visit retirement homes along with other volunteers and provide 30-minute music sessions for the residents. Additionally, I organized summer camps to educate children on the basics of music, such as reading sheet music and counting rhythm. Coloratura volunteers perform at several retirement homes, such as Regent Care Center of the Woodlands, Lawrence Street at Tomball, and Brookdale at Sugar Land.

I observed research in homologous antigenic loading dendritic cells (DCs) to present matched antigens on both MHC class I and class II molecules to generate an anti-inflammatory immune response. The DCs were loaded with tumor derived antigens where amplified capped mRNA (class I) was generated by different methods and compared. Additionally, I performed cell culture including but not limited to splitting cells, isolation of human PBMC cells from healthy donor buffy coats, DNA gel electrophoresis, mouse weaning, tagging, and genotyping.
